This July we are looking for participants to get involved with our latest campaign – ‘The Portrait Project’.
Our objective is to inspire hope in the lives of individuals and raise awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse one picture at a time.
The Portrait Project
The Portrait Project is a fun-filled event where individuals take part in a photo shoot wearing our free #lovedoesnthurt and #inspirehope t-shirts.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and it’s an opportunity for you to meet like-minded people and be a part of a project that will help in raising awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse.
Due to social distancing rules and guidelines, this years campaign will take a different format.
We won’t be able organise this project at a specific venue but we hope to get participants who are able to:
- Take clear pictures in their homes, offices, parks…..
- Send us at least one picture on a white background. We are compiling an album online and it is important for the pictures to be uniform
- Make a video with the content ‘Love doesn’t hurt, speak out against domestic violence or Inspire Hope – Be A Voice. Speak out against domestic violence #lovedoesnthurt
- Be creative in their personal campaigns
- Distribute a few signposting flyers & posters.
- Send us the pictures and videos anytime from the 13/7/20 – 18/7/20
How you can get involved
If you are interested in this campaign, can commit to the above guidelines (very important) and wouldn’t mind your pictures published online, then please apply below via the online form letting us know why you want to get involved in The Portrait Project. (We have limited spaces and we are working with a small budget)
It’s also important to mention that this event is strictly by invitation and we reserve the right to select the applicants for our campaign.
We will get in touch in the coming weeks via email with more details.
Please contact admin@domesticviolenceuk.org for further information.
