The updates for the month of May are as follows:
- We launched the virtual food bank project two weeks ago and we’ve been able to distribute 19 food boxes so far to families in need. We also intend to request for discounted delivery rates from DPD/Hermes before the end of the month.
- We redesigned The Advice Hub and embedded a few widgets from ‘advice local’ so people are able to have access to more information on Welfare Benefits, Council Tax, Universal Credits, Housing, Social Care & Money Matters .
- We printed and distributed so many campaign posters; signposting people to specialist support organisations. We also created a simple app which allows people create their own personalised campaign posters
- Our directories and self-care resources page are constantly updated to ensure that it contains accurate information.
- We are looking into the possibility of having a virtual portrait project campaign in a few weeks. This is our yearly campaign aimed at getting people together for a photo shoot with a view to raising awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse
We have also continued to monitor the number of visits to our websites using google analytics.
