Although the ‘Summer’ seems to be struggling to start this year, our latest campaign has begun! Many of you have already gotten involved in ‘The Summer T-Shirt Campaign’ so thank you! But, we want to continue to raise awareness all throughout Summer, rain or come shine!
If you haven’t already purchased your T-Shirt you can follow this link to do so: http://www.dvuk.org – all of our T-Shirts throughout this Summer period are at a fixed price of £14 (inc. postage and packing to the UK).
From the purchases we have seen so far this year, we are able to offer more counselling sessions to individuals who have been on our waiting list for some months, so you really are making a difference in helping us support survivors of domestic and emotional abuse – well done!
For those of you who have already made your purchases you should have received a card with your T-Shirt asking for further help. T-Shirt wearers we need your selfies! In order to increase awareness of these issues and to further this important campaign we need to keep talking about it. Uploading selfies of you wearing these t-shirts to social media and using our hashtags #lovedoesnthurt #summertshirtcampaign will go a long way in providing more exposure! Bonus points to those who are creative, and take selfies of yourselves in the t-shirts in exotic holiday locations.
The more exposure we give to this campaign, the more t-shirts we will sell which will impact how we can support the survivors or domestic and emotional abuse. We have already made some excellent progress thanks to you, but we’d like to keep it going.
Show your support, purchase your summer t-shirt and help us raise further awareness with your selfies!
Thank you.
