We are a not-for-profit organisation set up to provide information, support and raise awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse.

OUR ADVISORY BOARD

Ayo Sonoiki currently works as a Business Systems Analyst in London. She is a mother of two she has a keen interest in encouraging people to achieve their full potential.

She created ‘Thinking Aloud With Ayo'(TAWA) in 2009 which focuses on on people who are making a difference to their immediate environment and even beyond.

OUR AMBASSADORS

Janette Manrara is one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing and is also a lead dancer in the hit show, Burn The Floor. She began performing in musical theater at age 12 and started her formal dance training at 19, studying ballroom, ballet, pointe, jazz and hip-hop.

Having first found success as a Top 10 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance in the USA, she then went on to do a 3 month tour with them and later returned to the show as an “All Star”.

She has also danced on stage at the Oscars and appeared in the TV sensation Glee as a member of “Vocal Adrenaline”.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible services, inspire hope and signpost to specialist support organisations. We also want to raise public awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse through our projects and campaigns.

Our Services

We offer the following services:

  • An online and mobile signposting directory which allows individuals find their nearest specialist support organisation.
  • The Hope Initiative which is responsible for managing our Food Bank, Toiletries Box Project, Essential Boxes for local refuges and The Clothing Project
  • A Self Care resources page which provides general health information and tips to improve wellbeing. This is syndicated directly from The NHS website.
